Washington Open Tour Information
Washington Open Elementary School is a Parent Participation School where parents are involved in supporting students in their educational journey. Parents of our students at Washington Open work in the classroom once a week under the direction of the classroom teacher. If you are interested in finding out more about our school and seeing if the school is a good fit for your family and student, we highly encourage your attendance at one of our tours.
Tours of our program/school are highly encouraged for anyone who is planning to apply for Washington Open via the Santa Clara Unified School District's Open Enrollment.
This is a guided tour, not an open house, and it is not drop-in. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

Tours are for adults only — no children or infants may attend.

Tours begin promptly at 8:30 AM; please arrive by 8:20 AM to sign in.

Tours typically conclude between 11:00-11:30 AM.

No pre-registration is required.

Tours are recommended for families planning to apply to Washington Open through the Santa Clara Unified School District’s Open Enrollment process.
Kindergarten Teachers Meet and Greet
The Washington Open kindergarten teachers would love to meet you! This event is an opportunity for families to meet our kindergarten teachers and to learn more about what kindergarten looks like at Washington Open.

Parking
Parking is available in the big parking lot between Washington Open and Buchser Middle School. It is located on the corner of Washington Street and Poplar St.
